Do you have some old gold chains in
your jewelry box? A ring or two you
don't wear anymore or a bracelet that
is worn-out beyond repair? Why not
donate them to a good cause?
Maybe you or someone you know has jewelry leftover from the past and you're not sure what to do with it. Selling it isn't easy or safe and the actual returns are often less than spectacular. Wouldn't it be nice to do something with these pieces that would make you feel good?
The Gold Rush for Kids is an opportunity to do just that. By donating your treasures of yesterday - you can help the kids at the Children's Home in Mechanicsburg today.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
Bring your items into Munn's Diamond Gallery anytime. Monday through Friday 10 to 7 and Saturday 10 to 4. We are located at 12th and Market Streets in Lemoyne PA (across from the West Shore Plaza and L.B. Smith Ford) See directions icon on home page if you need help.
Or you can send your items in via US mail or a parcel carrier. For security purposes use the name Munn's or Munn's Inc. when addressing a package to us. Be sure to include your name, address, and phone along with a brief description and quantity of the items you are donating.
All donations will be given a receipt from Munn's and a letter of acknowledgement from the Children's Home. Your items (100%) will be refined and turned into cash revenue for children's services immediately! Any/all of the administrative costs for conducting the Gold Rush for Kids are covered by Munn's Diamond Gallery so that ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the proceeds from your donations can go directly to the Children's Home. The Gold Rush for Kids will be an ongoing project for years to come. Our initial goal is $50,000.00 (That's about a shoebox full of jewelry)
We'll let you know how we're doing, too! Our plan is to update all donors as we go along to keep you in touch with the effort.
We hope you can help. Remember that every little bit helps. If you don't have old gold you can still help by spreading the word. There are other ways to help the Home as well. If you've ever wondered about kids in need, you'll find them at the Children's Home. I can't imagine what would happen if it weren't for this facility and the people there. Please join me in this effort to help kids. It is most worthwhile and truly appreciated.
